The girlfriend of 19-year-old Karmelo Anthony, who was sentenced to 35 years in prison for the first-degree murder of 17-year-old Austin Metcalf, has publicly launched an “Official Fan Page” supporting her boyfriend, while calling him her “sweet boy.”
Valeria Perez, the murderer’s girlfriend, promoted the “StandWithKarmeloAnthony” Instagram account on her own profile before setting it as private.
“Hold your head high, my sweet boy. You’re not alone, we’re fighting for you, always. I love you more than words,” Perez wrote on her own account, which is now locked down.
Perez has been identified in multiple reports as Karmelo Anthony’s longtime girlfriend.

The page has not posted any permanent posts, but has been sharing messages of support for the killer in its disappearing stories.

The account only had 982 followers as of Thursday morning.
The fan page is following four accounts, including Anthony’s girlfriend, his mother, and his uncle.
Before the trial, Perez had maintained a relatively low public profile. She has now stepped into the spotlight by sharing public support and launching the fan page.

Anthony was convicted on Tuesday of murdering Austin Metcalf during a confrontation at a Frisco Independent School District track meet in Frisco, Texas, on April 2, 2025.
Anthony, then a student at Centennial High School, stabbed Metcalf in the chest with a knife after the victim and others, including his twin brother Hunter Metcalf, told him to leave the Memorial High School team tent during a rain delay.
Hunter held his twin as he died, despite efforts by first responders.
The jury rejected Anthony’s self-defense claim after less than three hours of deliberation.
The same jury sentenced him to 35 years in prison.
Anthony’s legal team has already filed an appeal, claiming the murderer is a victim of a “racist” system.
As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, the Metcalf family is now receiving death threats and hateful messages on their personal phone numbers and social media by supporters of the murderer.
This latest wave of harassment comes on the heels of shocking video footage showing a mob of deranged Karmelo Anthony supporters physically following and verbally assaulting the Metcalf family as they left the Collin County Courthouse immediately after the sentencing.
Video from the courthouse showed the murderer’s supporters swarm the grieving family, including his twin brother, while chanting “We glad Austin’s dead!”
