British King Charles To Review Free Rent for Disgraced Andrew’s Daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie – Prince William Planning To End Privilege in His Reign

Non-working Royals Living for Free in King’s residences.
The British National Audit Office (NAO) revealed that former Prince Andrew’s daughters, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, both non-working Royals and married with rich men, have lived for years on the King’s dime.
This caused yet another scandal, prompting King Charles to order a review of his nieces’ discounted palace rentals and private funding.

MSN reported:
“Transparency questions grow: The NAO report has fueled debate over royal housing benefits, prompting calls for clearer justification of arrangements for non-working royals.”
Lawmakers plan to launch a Parliamentary inquiry to examine whether royal residences deliver value for money.
“A controversy over Prince Andrew’s lease of Royal Lodge, which included subletting cottages, prompted a full audit of royal property arrangements. This incident served as the catalyst for examining how royal residences are used and funded. […] The rent for the residences occupied by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie is paid privately by King Charles. The payments are made using funds from the Privy Purse.”

Beatrice and Eugenie are not working Royals, and are not engaged in formal duties on behalf of the Windsors.
In the meantime, the heir to the throne Prince William is reportedly ‘planning on tightening the rules around royal properties’ when he is King.
Hello! reported:
“The Prince of Wales, 43, will ‘do things differently’ when he inherits the throne and is said to be considering banning the subletting of homes. According to The Sunday Times, he also intends to stop non-working royals from living rent-free in palaces.”
‘There appears to be a complete inequality here.’

Beatrice and Eugenie never paid rent for their homes at St. James’s Palace and Kensington Palace, despite both working and having husbands with successful careers.
“The Prince of Wales is said to be concerned over the optics of non-working royals benefitting from rent-free living arrangements.
William recently made public the terms of his lease at Forest Lodge, Windsor, where he and the Princess of Wales intend to continue living when they are King and Queen.”
