Will She or Won’t She? Pelosi Leaves Taiwan Off Asia Trip Itinerary
Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) released her Asia trip itinerary Sunday, leaving Taiwan off the list of stops in Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and Japan. Pelosi excluded Republicans from her trip, bringing five Democrats with her.

Joe Biden has expressed his and the Pentagon’s displeasure at the notion of Pelosi visiting Taiwan while communist China has made bellicose threats warning against a stop in Taiwan with one commentator threatening to shoot down Pelosi’s plane.
China’s Xinjua news agency reported President Xi Jinping warned Biden in a phone call Thursday, “Those who play with fire will eventually get burned. I hope the US side fully understands that.”
President Trump also criticized Pelosi in a statement posted to Truth Social on Friday.
“Why is Nancy Pelosi getting involved with China and Taiwan other than to make trouble and more money, possibly involving insider trading and information, for her cheatin’ husband? Everything she touches turns to Chaos, Disruption, and “Crap” (her second big Congress “flop” happening now!), and the China mess is the last thing she should be involved in – She will only make it worse. Crazy Nancy just inserts herself and causes great friction and hatred. She is such a mess!!!”
China announced Saturday it is conducting live fire exercises in the Taiwan Strait.
As The Gateway Pundit reported on Saturday, U.S. and Chinese warships are maneuvering in the South China Sea.
Pelosi was reportedly set to visit Taiwan in April as part of an Asia tour but the trip was canceled when she tested positive for COVID. All sorts of rumors have been passed around since word was first leaked about Pelosi’s new planned Taiwan trip almost two weeks ago. The latest rumor has Pelosi making an unannounced stop in Taiwan on August 4.
“Sources said Pelosi will visit Taiwan on Aug. 4 via the US Air Force Base in Clark, Philippines, to meet with Tsai Ing-wen in Taipei. Then, on the afternoon of the 5th, her plane landed at the US Air Force Base in Yokota, Tokyo.”

Meanwhile, the Chinese media is offering Pelosi protection if her plane has “emergency problems”, “If Pelosi’s plane really has some emergency problems and has to land somewhere during her flight around China, PLA fighter jets in the region will provide her protection…”

In 1991 Pelosi protested in Tiananmen Square, “28 years ago, we traveled to Tiananmen Square to honor the courage & sacrifice of the students, workers & ordinary citizens who stood for the dignity & human rights that all people deserve. To this day, we remain committed to sharing their story with the world.”

The ChiComs have not forgotten.
Few Chinese need reminding that Nancy Pelosi built her political career on China-bashing, starting with the events in Tiananmen Square. pic.twitter.com/haWR3bMEDE
