US Still Denies Entry to Unvaccinated Legal Travelers but Not Illegal Aliens Walking Across the Open Border
In case you are unaware, unvaccinated foreigners are still banned from entering the US despite the low number of COVID-19 cases.
Two Canadian nationals were denied entry on Saturday at a land border in British Columbia, Canada to Washington State.
According to the viral post tweeted by Josh (@JBar1982), his friends named Dona and Susan were turned away for being unvaccinated.
“The United States of America is STILL refusing unvaccinated travelers from Canada,” he said. “This is madness. My friends were turned around today.”

The same incident happened to the World No.1 tennis champion, Novak Djokovic, who was not allowed to compete in the US Open because the organization would adhere to the guidelines set forth by the US government on the COVID-19 vaccine.
In a statement released by the organization, it stated, “The US Open does not have a vaccination mandate in place for players, but it will respect the U.S. government’s position regarding travel into the country for unvaccinated non-U.S. citizens.”
According to CDC, “noncitizens who are nonimmigrants and seeking to enter the United States by air are required to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19before boarding a flight to the United States from a foreign country.”
“If you are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, you will NOT be allowed to board a flight to the United States, unless you meet the criteria for an exception under the Proclamation and CDC’s Amended Order. A booster dose is not needed to meet this requirement,” the agency continued.
Since January 22, 2022, DHS has allowed inbound non-U.S. citizens who are neither U.S. nationals nor lawful permanent residents to enter the United States at a land port of entry (POE) or ferry terminal if they are fully vaccinated and have proper documents. This also applies to air travel.
For essential or non-essential travel, non-U.S. citizens must:
- verbally attest to their COVID-19 vaccination status;
- provide proof of a CDC-approved COVID-19 vaccination, as outlined on the CDC website
- other documents
As of October 4, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC’s) Order requiring proof of vaccination for non-U.S. citizen nonimmigrants to travel to the United States is still in effect.
This mandate is only applicable to individuals who are traveling legally and does not apply to those who are illegally crossing our southern border.
2.3 million illegal aliens walked across the open border into the US this past year.
Not one was checked for the COVID vaccine.
Several countries including Canada and New Zealand, two of the countries that have the strictest restrictions, have already removed their COVID vaccination restrictions for travelers entering their countries.
