Orange County, California – Police arrested Malik Patt Friday afternoon in connection with a 7-Eleven murder spree.
Last week police released images of a gunman connected to at least two of the robberies-turned-shootings at 4 different 7-Eleven stores in Southern California.

Two 7-Eleven clerks are dead after a gunman hit up multiple 7-Eleven stores in Orange County (Santa Ana, La Habra and Brea) and Riverside last Monday.
A customer at the Riverside location who just happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time was shot in the head and is currently in grave condition, Fox LA reported.
Orange County District Attorney Todd Spitzer on Monday held a joint press conference with Los Angeles Sheriff Alex Villanueva to announce charges for Malik Patt and Jason Payne.
Malik Patt and Jason Payne were taken into custody and are being held in jail.

Todd Spitzer announced he is filing three special circumstance murder charges against 20-year-old Malik Patt and may seek the death penalty.
“Patt faces a slew of charges, including murder, attempted murder, robbery and carjacking. If convicted, his case could result in the death penalty or a life sentence without the possibility of parole.” Fox News reported.
Due to a change in state law thanks to the Democrat-controlled legislature, Patt’s accomplice, 44-year-old Jason Payne, will only be charged with 3 counts of felony robbery.
Law enforcement believe Malik Patt was the “trigger man” in the string of SoCal robberies-turned-murder.
Investigators also linked Malik Patt to the murder of a sleeping homeless man in Los Angeles.
OC DA Todd Spitzer filed a murder charge against Malik Patt for the murder of the Los Angeles man, a rare move that prompted a response from LA District Attorney’s office.
“Malik Patt is a stone-cold serial killer,” Spitzer said on Monday at the Santa Ana courthouse. “There’s no other way to describe him. He executed innocent people and shot others.”
