Republican Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana recently appeared on the Theo Von podcast and used some of his time there to outline the crazy beliefs of the socialist wing of the Democrat Party.

Kennedy, who has a legendary way with words, was not shy and named names, including Bernie Sanders, AOC, Zohran Mamdani, and Graham Platner.

He pointed out that these folks are anti-ICE, anti-police, and believe that police are a bigger problem than criminals.

Nothing he says here is untrue. Watch:

WAFB News has more on their conversation:

Von opened the conversation by listing other Louisiana names who have appeared on his podcast, including Lainey Wilson, Mark Normand, Dustin Poirier, Kevin Gates and Boosie. Kennedy told Von he was in Nashville for an event with U.S. Sen. Bill Hagerty and said the podcast appearance lined up with the trip.

Much of the early conversation centered on Louisiana.

Kennedy talked about growing up in Zachary, which he said had about 3,000 people when he was young.

“I grew up in a little town called Zachary,” Kennedy said.

Kennedy said he enjoyed his high school years and described small-town life as a place where “everybody knows your business.”…

The two also traded Louisiana wildlife stories, including snakes, raccoons, possums and alligators.

Kennedy joked that Louisiana has “more alligators than people,” prompting Von to ask, “Is that true?”

When Kennedy said it was, Von jumped in with a political joke.

“And watch the Democrats try to get them to register to vote,” Von said.

“Yep. Wouldn’t surprise me,” Kennedy responded.

Here’s that part:

Kennedy is a gem in the Senate.

It’s always worth listening when he speaks.
