More Evidence that Twitter Was Run by the Deep State – Former CIA and FBI Employee Identified at the Top of the Censorship Activities
Another Deep State individual was outed in the recent Twitter revelations unveiled by Elon Musk. Jeff Carlton has a resume showing he worked at both the FBI and CIA and then moved on to Twitter. This is what we all expected – that Twitter was being led by the Deep State.
We’ve already reported on James Comey’s former Chief Counsel at the FBI and how he wormed his way into Twitter. After Baker showed his true allegiance to the Deep State over the weekend, Musk let him go on Tuesday.
We now know that Baker wasn’t the only Deep State character who wormed his way into Twitter. Another individual whose name popped up yesterday is a man by the name of Jeff Carlton.
Carlton’s name doesn’t come up much but it was tied to data released in yesterday’s data drop released by Twitter. Bari Weiss shared that one group at Twitter decided whether to limit the reach of certain users. This was the Strategic Response Team.

Andy Ngo noticed this and located the current head of this team, and his name was Jeff Carlton. Ngo was able to grab Carlton’s LinkedIn profile before it was deleted yesterday.

Carlton worked with the Strategic Response team since May 2021 and was recently named the head of the team.

What I find interesting is in segment/tweet #12 where Ms. Weiss reveals the existence of the top tier of Twitter control officers. “The group that decided whether to limit the reach of certain users was the Strategic Response Team – Global Escalation Team, or SRT-GET. I find it curious that Ms Bari Weiss mentioned several names in her expose’ yet failed to mention the name or curriculum vitae of the head for the Strategic Response Team, a fellow named Jeff Carlton.
Like former CIA head Mike Pompeo, Mr Jeff Carlton was a former U.S. Naval Intelligence Officer responsible for briefing White House officials where his responsibilities included his former work within the FBI counterintelligence division and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). Apparently, these intelligence skillsets transferred nicely to his position as the head of Twitter’s Strategic Response Team…
…Controlling information, and ultimately shaping public opinion, was/is the primary responsibility of this internal Twitter network that was/is operating in a public-private partnership with the United States Government.
It is no surprise to see more Deep State actors involved at the highest levels at Twitter. Who is really running our government?
