Brother of Popular Florida Santa, Who Remains Jailed After Trying to Meet Child for Sex, Arrested for Masturbating in Front of 5-Year-Old Girl at Walmart (VIDEO)
A 62-year-old man named David Hicks was arrested in Polk County, Florida, after surveillance video captured him stalking a mother and her 5-year-old daughter through a Mulberry Walmart before exposing himself and masturbating right in the middle of the store in front of the terrified little girl.
The disgusting incident happened earlier this week and was caught on camera, leading to a Crime Stoppers tip that quickly identified Hicks as the perpetrator.
What makes this case even more revolting is that David Hicks is the younger brother of 68-year-old Thomas Hicks, the well-known Lakeland Santa Claus whose arrest The Gateway Pundit covered in April.
The “Santa” impersonator was arrested during a massive Polk County child predator sting after he tried to pay $200 to have sex with what he believed was a 13-year-old girl.
According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, the incident at the Walmart was witnessed by an employee near the cold food section.
Surveillance footage clearly showed David Hicks following the mother and child through the store before pulling out his genitals and masturbating in view of the 5-year-old.
Authorities released images of the suspect through Crime Stoppers on July 8, and an anonymous tip the very next day identified him as David Hicks, noting that he had done the same thing before in Toccoa, Georgia.
Detectives took him into custody at his home without incident.
The younger Hicks now faces three third-degree felony charges: indecent exposure, lewd exhibition, and exposure of sexual organs. He has a long history of similar disgusting behavior, with prior arrests for indecent exposure in South Carolina in 1991, Georgia in 1992 and 1998, Florida in 1996, and even child molestation charges in Georgia in 1998 that resulted in only probation.
Sheriff Grady Judd did not hold back during the press conference announcing the arrest, directly calling out the family connection and declaring it a “family affair.”
Judd reminded the public about the brother, Thomas Hicks, the local Santa Claus who remains behind bars on multiple felony charges, including human trafficking, from the April sting operation.
“Santa Claus’ brother is this guy, and now we've got them both locked up in jail. I just hope there are no more brothers,” the sheriff said.

The disturbing Santa connection does not end there.
Just last month, The Gateway Pundit reported on a separate but equally sickening case in Louisiana where a 75-year-old man who legally changed his name to “Santa Claus” was arrested during a Kenner Police Department undercover child predator sting.
That man, originally George Quigley, contacted an undercover detective posing as a 15-year-old boy on a dating app, arranged to meet for sex, and was taken into custody when he showed up.
Quigley had a long white beard and was wearing all red while trying to meet the child, raising questions about predators deliberately associating themselves with Santa to gain access to or target children.
