At Nantucket Fundraiser, Jill Biden Pouts to Donors That Unforeseen Events Have Wrecked Her and Joe’s Plans for Their Time in the White House
There once was a First Lady who went to Nantucket
where she whined about her and her husband’s bad luck-et
Burned by her Taco-gate speechwriters in San Antone
And her laughable effort to atone
She made even worse headlines by speaking off-the-cuff-it
to rich Dem donors in Nantucket.
While Joe Biden was humiliating himself in Saudi Arabia this weekend, Jill Biden was in Nantucket, Massachusetts pouting to donors at an exclusive fundraiser of about two dozen guests on Saturday how unhappy she is with how her and Joe Biden’s plans for their time in the White House have turned out because of unforeseen events, while maintaining he was the right man because the “choice was between good and evil.”
Jill Biden told the donors Joe Biden and his administration have been repeatedly blindsided by events that have derailed not only Joe’s plans for his presidency (“He had so many hopes and plans”), but also Jill’s plans for her time as First Lady (“I had to be…First Lady of the moment”).
The Bidens have been a D.C. power couple for decades and have seen up close how the presidency is buffeted by unforeseen events–but also brought down by unforced errors. Rather than acknowledge the numerous unforced errors by Joe Biden on inflation, energy, the border, COVID, Afghanistan, Ukraine and overall domestic and foreign policy that have weakened the U.S. and the Biden presidency, Jill Biden whined that he and she are victims of cruel fate.
Pavlovic Today reported on Jill Biden’s remarks, noting she set aside her prepared remarks to speak directly to the donors (excerpt):
The First Lady Jill Biden arrived at 10:50 am at the summer home of Sandy Urie and Frank Herron, off of Madaket Road, on the island of Nantucket, on a sunny Saturday morning. Guests were screened for COVID, using a rapid-antigen test before being allowed to enter the event.
On her arrival the first lady participated in a photo op line with close to two dozen guests.
The First Lady set aside her prepared remarks, stepped out from behind the podium, and talked more formally (sic) to the guests…
…The first lady added that President Biden is the right person at the right time for many reasons.
“He’s just had some many things thrown his way,” she said. “Who would have ever thought about what happened [the Supreme Court overturning] Roe v Wade? Well, maybe we saw it coming, but still we didn’t believe it. The gun violence in this country is absolutely appalling. We didn’t see the war in Ukraine coming.”
Speaking of her husband, Joe Biden, she said “He had so many hopes and plans for things he wanted to do, but every time you turned around, he had to address the problems of the moment.”
Jill Biden said she faced a similar problem in her role as First Lady.
“I was saying to myself, ‘Okay, I was Second Lady. I worked on community colleges. I worked on military families. I’ve worked on cancer. They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got (in the White House) I had to be, with all that was happening, First Lady of the moment.”

Last week Jill Biden alienated Latino voters with a clumsy Hispandering speech at a “Latinx” conference in San Antonio where she mispronounced bodega and likened Hispanics to breakfast tacos.
Jill Biden fails at Spanish again, calling bodegas “bo-ga-duhs” and saying Hispanics are as unique as tacos. Cringe.

Rather than apologize directly, Jill Biden had her spokesman do it for her, writing, “The First Lady apologizes that her words conveyed anything but pure admiration and love for the Latino community.”

Jill Biden’s apology was not accepted by many, including recently elected Rep. Mayra Flores (R-TX).

Jill Biden spent three days in Massachusetts while Joe Biden was in the Middle East. (Maybe Jill didn’t want to fist bump MBS.)

The day before her whine-fest with donors, Jill Biden visited firemen on Nantucket, giving them two grocery bags of presidential ice cream bars.
“We got a call the First Lady wanted to visit, especially after hearing about the fire.
“They couldn’t have been more gracious, especially the First Lady. She brought two Stop and Shop bags filled with presidential ice cream. She was an absolute sweet heart…” pic.twitter.com/dm9amfNYbU

Earlier Jill Biden was in Boston speaking at a radical teachers union convention.
Thank you @FLOTUS for joining us in Boston today and for your constant support of your fellow educators and the labor movement. We are so lucky to have you as our First Lady.https://t.co/WBjaOtesTS
