Coroner’s Office Officially Announces the Cause of Death for “Remember the Titans” Actress Hayden Panettiere

The official cause of death for actress Hayden Panettiere has been officially revealed after a report last week suggested a possible culprit.

As The New York Times reported, the Greenville County Coroner’s Office released a statement on Tuesday that said the toxic effects of fentanyl and other drugs caused Panettiere’s death.

These additional drugs included alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine.

Moreover, her death was ruled an accident. An autopsy performed by the coroner showed no signs of trauma that would have contributed to the death.

The Cleveland Clinic notes that alprazolam, which is also called Xanax, is used to treat anxiety. In addition, Methocarbamol, known as Robaxin, is a muscle relaxant.

Quetiapine, or Seroquel, is an antipsychotic used to treat schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression.

Per the CDC, fentanyl is an extremely dangerous opioid that is up to 100 times more potent than morphine.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ last week that Panettiere took one fatal pill the day she died. According to these sources, the pill was oxycodone laced with fentanyl.

Moreover, these same sources told TMZ that Panettiere had a long-time drug dealer in LA who was giving her several black-market prescription drugs, including the aforementioned oxycodone.

This report appears to be partially incorrect, especially since oxycodone was not mentioned in the report.

As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Panettiere passed away last month at just 36 years old.

Panettiere was well-known not just for her roles in “Nashville” and “Heroes,” but also for starring in the beloved 2000 film “Remember the Titans” at just 10 years of age.

In addition, an unidentified friend of Panettiere called 911 at 1:51 p.m. the day of her death from a Greenville, SC, apartment to report an “unresponsive female” in “cardiac arrest.”

Panettiere and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson had flown from Los Angeles to South Carolina. It’s unclear whether he was the one who placed the call.

The late actress left behind a young daughter with her ex-fiancé, legendary heavyweight boxer Wladimir Klitschko.
