Lover of Woke Senate Candidate James Talarico Revealed

The rumors regarding Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico’s love life have been officially put to rest, though his relationship might raise a few questions.

The New York Post revealed on Friday that America’s newest woke darling has been secretly dating a vegan political lobbyist who once worked as his chief of staff.

According to the Post, Talarico met his girlfriend, 30-year-old Brianna Menard, when she landed a position in Talarico’s office in 2022. They did not start dating until the following January, when Menard became chief of staff for state Representative Salman Bhojani.

In addition to lobbying on vegan issues, Menard is vegan herself. This comes as rumors of not eating animal products have dogged Talarico.

While he has insisted he is a classic Texas carnivore, Talarico was seen wearing a mask and discussing embracing veganism to fight climate change in a 2022 video.

“We have, I think, heard more and more of issues of animal welfare,” he told a Texas crowd. “I think not just because it’s the right thing to do and the moral thing to do, but it’s also—as all of you know—necessary to fight climate change.”

“It is now existential that we try to reduce our meat consumption and that we try to respect animals in all aspects of society,” Talarico continued . “I am proud to say that our campaign has officially become a non-meat campaign…we are only buying vegan products from our local vegan businesses.”

While not proof, it is certainly interesting that Talarico is dating a die-hard vegan, given the rumors surrounding him.

Moreover, the fact that this woman is a former employee of his might raise a few eyebrows.

Talarico previously claimed on a podcast that he had a girlfriend, but declined to identify her.

“She is my rock. She is my best friend,” Talarico stated on an episode of “The Jamie Kern Lima Show.” “I don’t know if I could have gotten through the last six months of this crazy race if she hadn’t been by my side.”
